Types of shut-off valves for pipelines    PDF Tisk Email
A pipeline is a system of pipes that carry water, gas, oil, and other substances. Special fittings are used to block the flow of these substances. It is called a pipeline system and ensures the normal functioning of pipeline systems. In order to block the flow of the working medium during the construction of the pipeline, you need to buy a valve and install it in a prominent place so that in the event of a pipe break or repair, you can quickly shut off the circulation of liquid matter. Valves with an electric drive are considered the best and most convenient to operate, which are installed on those sections of the pipeline that are difficult or even impossible to reach. In addition to shut-off valves, the following types of pipe fittings are installed on the pipeline:- drain;- safety;- regulating;- reverse;- drainage;- drainage and so on.Each of these species has its own purpose and performs a specific function. The choice of fittings depends on the type of pipeline and the working medium used. For example, shut-off valves are used to block the transportation of the working medium during repair and maintenance work. Such fittings include a ball valve. Shut-off valves are universal products that are used to shut off, adjust and distribute the flow of working fluid. They are suitable for all substances: gaseous, viscous and liquid. The design of such fittings is represented by a body and a gate, which is made in the form of a ball, a cylinder and a cone. There is a hole in the center of this shutter. As for the material of manufacture, shut-off valves are made of steel, brass, cast iron and bronze.Valves that operate under a certain pressure or when changing the direction in which the working medium flows can be opened and closed. In order to prevent a change in the movement of the working medium, you should buy a non-return valve, which is indispensable in a situation such as a breakdown of pumping equipment or a breakage of the main valve. With the help of control valves, specialists manage to control the flow and supply of gas or liquid to the system, simply by changing the diameter of the inlet. Shut-off valves allow 100% shut-off of the flow of water, gas or other substance. Such products are characterized by a high level of reliability and tightness. They are indispensable in emergency situations that help prevent.
